What Does G.T.L. Mean??

You've heard people say it -- "G.T.L." or "G.T.L. for Life" -- and you've been wondering what the heck it means. Well, it comes from MTV's latest reality show, Jersey Shore and it's an acronym for the daily beauty regimen of going to the gym, tanning, and doing laundry. Apparently the dudes on Jersey Shore don't work nor do they have anything else constructive to do so they simply spend their days working out, getting artificially sun-baked, and washing clothes. (Wow, that sounds very manly.)

I got to wondering if G.T.L. stood for anything else, so I started asking around... one person said it has to do with Auto Racing -- "GT Lite" -- and another told me it's used as an acronym for "Glory to The Lord." I'm also told it means, "Gun Toting Liberal." But my favorite so far has got to be a slight variation on that -- "Gun Toting Lesbians." Watch out for them!
